I tried landing on the moon but failed. How did the astronauts do it in 1969? Do you need some special equipment to land on the moon?

Yes, in order to land on the moon, you would need the following special equipment...
O... and a Saturn rocket and an organization capable of launching spaceships would be nice to have but not essential...
